In many cases, you should look out for these common signs that the person could be a spammer:

1 - They have "rushed" profiles.  This means that their information just don't add up or the profile is not close to being complete.

2 - They have sent you a message either asking you for your email address (e.g. wanting to exchange email addresses), or telling you to visit their website (this includes social networking profiles).

Common Sense:

If your profile does not have a picture, nor have you written much about yourself nor the qualities you're looking for in a potential match, and someone asks for your email address, it is not wise to send them your email address.

For the sake of your security, we advise you to NOT expose your email address on this site, NOR to give it to anyone here who you have barely had a chance to know via private message exchange.

How do you report a member? Simply visit their profile and scroll down to the options below their profile picture.  Click on the "Report" link, and that's it!
